Greg Rolas

Greg Rolas

Former student

I am a current student at the Randolph Academy of performing arts in the triple threat intensive program. I have been performing my entire life ever since I was very young. I have played in many bands as the lead guitarist and vocalist, and performed at many different venues such as, big music festivals, restaurants, and charity events. I was a member of a couple different choirs, the Eastwood Chamber Choir, Sound Machine, and a soloist in the St Agatha Church Choir. I also was a chorus member in the musical 42nd Street at the Centre in the Square. I have danced for many different events, such as Stratford’s Kiwanis Festival of Stars, Cambridge’s Mayor Celebration of arts, and special performance to honour Karen Kain and Frank Augustyn. I was also selected to represent the country in Austria on the Canadian National Hip Hop Team.

The Meyerhofer Academy of Dancing has helped me in so many ways to get me where I am today. The biggest thing I learned from the studio is professionalism. In any industry of work you must be professional. As a current student of Randolph Academy I am marked based on professionalism, and thanks to Lisa Meyerhofer and the studio I was already accustomed to being professional about my work. Another important thing I got dancing at Meyerhofer was opportunities. Lisa continuously works to bring in the best teachers, and provide performing opportunities. Finally the studio is very much like a family that I am proud to be a part of. They are truly there and support you in anything you do. I can’t thank the Meyerhofer Academy of Dancing enough for supporting me and making who I am today.
